Nurse Practitioner Jodi Filion RN, MSN, FNP-C, AOCNP was born in Rhode Island, but raised here in Virginia Beach, VA. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Medical College of Virginia in 1993 and her graduate degree in nursing from Old Dominion University in 2000. In February 2001, she became a certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Since she completed her graduate degree, all of her clinical experience has focused on hematology and oncology. In early 2007, she becamean Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner as deemed through the Oncology Nurse Certification Corporation. Jodi is married, lives in Virginia Beach, and has two young boys. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with the kids.
